You can be the winner of Monte Carlo's “Richness Through Diversity 2008” Song Contest…
If:
- You are between the ages of 12 and 21
- You are a talented young poet or songwriter
- You live in or near a community which has benefited from an action by a humanitarian association from Monte Carlo (the Principality of Monaco)
then you have the opportunity to write a song and win a recording contract and also a trip to Monte Carlo in order to participate in your song's recording with professional artists!
The rules and regulations:
- Your song's theme:
The lyrics should express your feelings, impressions, reactions, experience, and/or interpretations of whatever contribution our Principality's association has made in your life or that of your community.
You can read a list of Monte Carlo's worldwide humanitarian associations and some photos of their activities. - Your song's melody:
or download the melody or your song (from the Monte Carlo Rhapsody CD by Louis Frosio). You can change or rearrange this melody as well as the beat and/or the rhythm to add your own local flavor. - Your song's lyrics can be for
Singing, for Rap, or Hip Hop style.
It can be in whatever language that you want (you may also record and send in a cassette version if you like).
But you must submit your song's lyrics written in either english or french for our judges. - This Contest ends October 31, 2007 & all
